About Construction Career Day Works Event (CCDW)
CCDW along with many sponsors, will host the WNC Construction Career Day Works Event on March 28 & 29 2023; at the Smoky Mountain Event Center (Haywood County Fairgrounds) in Waynesville. March 27th is a setup day.
This is an opportunity for WNC students to learn more about the construction industry, the many careers that are in demand, talk with company representatives and participate in hands-on activities.

Students will arrive at the Arena in the morning. An Industry representative will meet the bus and guide the group to their assigned area. Students will rotate through demonstration and hands-on areas including operating heavy equipment. See this page with videos of the last event, held before COVID; in 2019.

There is no charge to exhibit, provide a hands on/demonstration activity or volunteer.
