Women in Construction - Student Award

Construction employment totaled a record-high 7.75 million in November

  A separate government report Wednesday showed there were 377,000 job openings in construction at the end of October, which exceeded the number of employees—341,000—hired during that month. The excess of job openings over hires indicated the industry wanted to hire more than twice as many workers as it was able to find in the current low-unemployment environment, Simonson says. Construction industry adds 20,000 jobs November

The construction industry added 20,000 jobs on net in November, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of data released today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.  On a year-over-year basis, industry employment has risen by 248,000 jobs, an increase of 3.3%.  More at:  https://constructioncitizen.com/blog/construction-employment-increases-20000-november-says-abc/2212071
